Maybe you're a complete beginner at speaking German, maybe you can order a wine from the menu or maybe you can even talk about where the wine comes from and the climate of the region.

We have classes for all levels of German and we can give you a good guide as to how long each course will take. There are savings you can make by enrolling in consecutive months - check out our Price List for details of these savings. But the levels are arranged in such a way that you don't necessarily have to enrol in consecutive months for your learning to still progress. For example, you might decide to attend the A1.1 class in January and the A1.2 class in April.

If you are taking an Intensive Course - 15 teaching units a week (where 1 teaching unit is 45 minutes), we would expect you to progress in the following way:

The Super Intensive Course is an option that combines the Intensive Course with a Conversation Class once a week. This gives you a total of 18 teaching units a week.

Of course, if you are doing Evening Classes, it will take a little longer. In that case, it would take 32 weeks to complete the A1 level.
