Is English spoken in lessons?

The speakeasy teching method tries to incorporate as much spoken German into the class as possible. But don't panic! Beginner courses (A1 and A2), will receive additional in-class explanations in English where necessary. This is to help until the group gets accustomed to being taught fully in German. So you can still feel free to ask questions or clarify explanations.

As you progress through the levels, the amount of English spoken tends to decrease. So that in the higher levels (B2 and C1) you will find the lesson is conducted almost entirely in German.
